Students interested in auditioning should join The Wedding Singer schoology group using

but your submissions will be made within your MTAS schoology courses.*

- To be elligble for casting consideration, your audition materials and virtual song package(s) must be sumbitted by 10pm on Sunday, October 4th., via your MTAS Schoology course.
- You may sumbit material as you complete it; you do not need to wait to submit all materials at the same time.
- You should begin by completing the Audition Form & Conflict Calendar first, then prepare your audition video(s).
Students will sing from the show. Song cuts and digital backing tracks are available [via the Schoology group listed above] for all eight leading characters, as well as one general ensemble cut.
- If you are auditioning for a specific role(s), you should prepare the material for that role.
- If you are not auditioning for a specific role, you should prepapre any piece that best shows you off.
- You may submit materials for up to two roles, but you must complete the full "package." [For example: If you want to go for Julia, but also show you could play Grandma, you would submit all four songs.]
Students will be taught the dance combination in-class. They will learn it one class and then perform for adjudication the next class, following the schedule listed above.
Callbacks will be held after school at Fairfax High School on Tuesday, October 13th from 3:30-6:30pm. Additional materials and instructions will be shared with the Callback List. Students should expect to attend for the full time, during which they will read sides and participate in cold readings. They may also be asked to sing again.
